The process of making a pattern

Looking at this bracelet, may seem like a bunch of colors put together. Well, there is some truth to that, but there is a long process getting there.

First I choose the colors I would like to combine together. I use stringers, which are thin long glass noodles. I put them together in an order over clear glass, for first firing. After they all fused together over night, I take the sheet of glass and cut it to 1/2" strips. I then lay the strips, on clear glass again, playing with the order and lengths to create a new pattern. After another fusing I take the new pattern glass an I cut it again to the shapes of earrings and bracelet pendants and fire it again.
